What to Wear
- We recommend wearing swimwear or a swimsuit, followed by an outfit like a t-shirt and shorts or tights. Salwar Kameez is acceptable, but not ideal (short kurtas would be better than long kurtas).
Loose or baggy clothing, saris, or veils are not allowed due to safety concerns.. Please wear secure footwear. Slippers are neither advised nor allowed.

- Arrive at The Earthen Pot Restaurant, Valpoi Town. For the trip commencing at 10:00 am, arrive at 9:30 am. For the trip commencing at 3:00 pm, arrive at 2:30 pm.

- Board the appointed Minivans and take the path to the Mystic Mhadei River! Just relax, chat a little or introspect during this 25 min drive to the river.
10:30 am to 11:00 am / 03:30 pm to 04:00 pm
- Enjoy a 10 min walk down the river, to the start point.
11:00 am to 11:30 am / 04:00 pm to 04:30 pm
- Get hands-on and be all ears, while getting briefed by the river guides and fitting the equipment that will ensure a safe and memorable ride down the river.

A moderate level of fitness is adequate for our trip. However, anybody weighing over 120 kg may not be permitted if they’re too large for the life jacket.

In the interest of safety, we discourage pregnant ladies, anyone with back problems, disabilities, and heart conditions from River Rafting.

Can I eat before rafting?
Absolutely. No problem at all. As long as you can move afterward.
Can I drink alcohol before Rafting?
No. Alcohol consumption before the trip is strictly not allowed. You will also sign an indemnity bond before departing for the trip, to declare you’re ‘not under the influence of alcohol.’ This is in the interest of guest safety.

The Rafting trips are operated by Southern River Adventures and Sports Pvt Ltd., which is the pioneer Rafting Company in South India.

Do I get a refund if I don’t show up?
- NO REFUND of booking amount for NO SHOW.
- No postponing of the trip.
- FULL REFUND if the activity is canceled due to weather conditions or any issues at our end.
Can I go directly to the rafting point and book a seat?
To secure a spot on a trip, you must reserve in advance via payment. You may be able to get a space by simply showing there, but please phone us beforehand so we can inform you if your travel will be wasted or not.
