What is Wakeboarding?

Wakeboarding is a watersport that involves riding on a board behind a boat. The rider uses the wakes produced by the boat to propel themselves. It is similar to water skiing, but instead of being towed behind the boat by a rope, the rider is attached to the boat with a safety line and rides in their own wake created by the boat’s motion.

What is wakeboarding?

The sport of riding on a short, wide board resembling a surfboard while being towed behind a motorboat across its wake.

How do you get up and stay up on a wakeboard?

You want to roll your heels down under your bottom while keeping your knees at your chest. Keep your feet, knees, and shoulders facing the boat. Look straight ahead and not at your feet. You’ll stay in this crouched position until the board rises completely out of the water.

What happens if you fall off?

If you fall off, you simply wait in the water and the instructor will bring the handle back to you.

Can I wear my spectacles?

It is advised not to wear your spectacles and we also don’t recommend wearing goggles either.

How hard is wakeboarding?

Although wakeboarding is generally not considered a hard sport, it can be more challenging for those who don’t have any board sports experience.
